The core features of Nanhai Ya Plastic Extruder Machine are "continuous conveying, high-efficiency plasticizing, and stable molding."
The extruder consists of five core systems from feeding to molding, each with a clearly defined function and working collaboratively:
1. Feeding System
Core components: hopper, feeder (divided into gravity feeding and forced feeding).
Function: Stably conveys solid plastic granules/powders to the screw feed section, avoiding "bridging" (material blockage in the hopper). Forced feeders (such as twin-screw feeders) are suitable for high-viscosity or easily agglomerated materials, with a feeding accuracy of ±1%.
2. Plasticizing System
Core components: screw, barrel, heating and cooling devices.
Function: The core area for the "solid-liquid conversion" of plastics. The screw rotation generates shear force, which, combined with segmented heating of the barrel (usually 3-5 segments), gradually softens and melts the solid plastic; the cooling device (such as water cooling or air cooling) controls the barrel temperature to prevent overheating and degradation of the material.
Key parameters: The screw length-to-diameter ratio (L/D) is typically 20:1-30:1. The barrel heating temperature is adjusted according to the plastic material (e.g., PE 180-220℃, PVC 160-190℃).
3. Transmission System
Core components: Motor, gearbox, coupling.
Function: Provides stable power to the screw and controls the screw speed (typically 10-100 r/min). The motor often uses a variable frequency motor or servo motor, allowing for precise speed adjustment; the gearbox reduces motor speed and increases torque to meet the high-load operation requirements of the screw.
4. Die Head and Mold System
Core components: Die head (connects the barrel and mold), mold (determines the cross-sectional shape of the product).
Function: Introduces molten plastic into the mold cavity and extrudes it into specific shapes (e.g., pipes, sheets, profiles). The mold needs to be precisely machined according to the product dimensions. Common types include pipe molds, flat-mouth molds (sheets/films), and irregular-shaped molds (door and window profiles).
5. Shaping, Cooling, and Traction System
Core Components: Shaping sleeve (e.g., vacuum sizing sleeve, calendering roller), cooling tank (water-cooled/air-cooled), traction machine.
Function: Rapidly cools and shapes the extruded high-temperature profile, while simultaneously tractioning it at a uniform speed through the traction machine to ensure dimensional stability of the product (e.g., pipe wall thickness deviation ≤ ±0.1mm). The traction speed must match the extrusion speed to prevent product stretching or wrinkling.
Depending on production requirements, we can provide single-screw extruders, twin-screw extruders, and extrusion production lines.
