This PE conical twin screw barrel is made from 38CrMoAla steel. Raw material is crucial to screw performance, and we select high-strength and wear-resistant steel from renowned Chinese steel producers that meets national standards (GB/T 3077).

By ensuring consistent material feed and pressure throughout the extrusion process, this helps minimize flow anomalies such as fluctuations or pulsations, reducing equipment wear and extending screw and barrel service life.

We offer a 1-2 year warranty, depending on the specific material addition ratio. Nanhaiya's barrels undergo a nitriding process, with a 2mm thick layer of nickel-tungsten alloy spray-welded on the most wear-prone areas. This increases the surface hardness of the barrel from HRC55-60 to over HRC65, boosting wear resistance by 2-4 times.

PE conical twin screw extruders typically feature a counter-rotating design (the two screws rotate in opposite directions). This creates a small intermeshing gap, generating strong shear forces (promoting PE plasticization) while also allowing the screw flights to clean each other (reducing material residue and preventing degradation).

Nanhaiya's PE conical twin screw extruders feature a small clearance between the screw flights and the barrel wall (typically 0.1-0.3mm). Combined with the shear and extrusion effects generated by the counter-rotating screws, they rapidly melt PE granules and evenly disperse additives (such as antioxidants and colorants). The screw design provides space for vents and melt filters, allowing them to work with the barrel's exhaust system to remove moisture and low-molecular-weight volatiles from the PE melt, ensuring a bubble-free product. Filters of varying pore sizes can also be used to filter impurities and enhance product purity.

The PE conical twin screw barrel is compatible with a variety of PE raw materials: LDPE (low-density polyethylene), HDPE (high-density polyethylene), LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), and other PE types. By adjusting screw speed and groove parameters, it can accommodate PE raw materials with different melt indexes. It can be used for extrusion of PE pipes, profiles, and films, as well as for PE pelletization and modification (such as glass fiber reinforcement and flame retardant modification). It is particularly suitable for the production of small batches and a wide variety of PE products.
